SCG Teaching Artist Team, Positions Available

Choir Conductors: Artistic leader of their Ensemble, leads all choral rehearsals and sets the tone for a joyful, intense learning environment

Voice Teachers: Leads group voice lessons and sectional rehearsals

Piano Accompanist: Accompanies vocal rehearsals and performances

Application procedures and deadlines:

Submit the following by July 15, 2017 to

1. Cover Letter

2. Resume 

-including education/training, teaching experience, and performance experience

3. VIDEO (YouTube Link or Video)

Performance Video

- Two music selections (performing on primary instrument or conducting)


Teaching Sample Video

-10 minutes of teaching 


Successful applicants will exhibit the following:

 High Level of Musical Artistry

 Creativity in Classroom Facilitation 

 Experience Teaching Various Abilities and Levels

 Ability to Work Collaboratively

 Experience with Family Engagement

 Commitmentto on-going professional development as an arts
